British Columbia based artist, Marie Downing, has been honing her skills for the past several years. With her Graphic Arts background, she brings her attention to detail into her paintings and other works.

Member of the Federation of the Canadian Artists this dynamic artist captures the essence of the rural  west with  her  vibrant,  stylized and figurative paintings in India inks.   Marie’s fascination with textures, skilled techniques, layering of colours give rise to bold shadows , depth, in all her paintings.
